Ken is an American who proudly embraces his Okinawan heritage. His mother and grandparents were born and raised on the beautiful island of Iejima, and his family roots remain deeply connected to the island today.

Growing up, Ken spent his summers in Iejima exploring hidden beaches, sacred caves, and breathtaking coastlines while listening to stories passed down through generations. Those experiences shaped his love for Okinawan culture, community, and the simple island way of life.

Today, Ken lives in Japan with his wife and remains closely connected to his family's homeland. Through Oki Ken, he hopes to share the spirit of Okinawa with people around the world.

Oki Ken was created to celebrate the beauty, culture, and lifestyle of Okinawa through thoughtfully designed apparel, accessories, and island-inspired products. Every design reflects a piece of the islands that have inspired Ken throughout his life.

As a small family business just getting started, our goal is simple: create products that tell Okinawa's story while supporting the communities that make these islands so special.

As Oki Ken grows, we hope to give back to local communities and create opportunities to collaborate with Okinawan artists, makers, and small businesses. We believe the best way to preserve culture is to celebrate and share it.

ケンは、自身の沖縄のルーツを誇りに思うアメリカ人です。母親と祖父母は伊江島の出身で、その家族のつながりは今も島に深く根付いています。

幼い頃から毎年のように伊江島を訪れ、静かなビーチや神聖な洞窟、美しい海岸線を巡りながら、家族や地域の人々から受け継がれてきた島の歴史や文化に触れて育ちました。

現在は日本で妻と共に暮らしながら、故郷とも言える伊江島とのつながりを大切にしています。そして、その想いを形にしたのが「Oki Ken」です。

Oki Kenは、沖縄の美しい自然や文化、そして島ならではのライフスタイルを世界中の人々に届けるために生まれたブランドです。Tシャツやアパレル、アクセサリーなどを通じて、沖縄の魅力や物語を発信しています。

私たちはまだ始まったばかりの小さな家族経営のブランドですが、「沖縄の魅力を伝えること」と「地域への感謝を忘れないこと」を大切にしています。

将来的には、地域社会への貢献活動や、沖縄で活躍するアーティストやクリエイターとのコラボレーションにも取り組んでいきたいと考えています。
